• The Dantewada administration imposes Rs 1,620.5 crore fine on NMDC for mining law violations. The PSU has termed the move of this violations “completely inappropriate” and claimed the penalty was imposed “solely and blindly without considering the facts and circumstances in the case
  
• Vale plans to launch ethanol-powered mining dump trucks. Brazilian mining company Vale, in partnership with Komatsu and Cummins, plans to modernize its fleet of mining dump trucks that will use a mixture of ethanol and diesel as fuel

• U.S. Aand eru strengthen ties for critical mineral cooperation. The United States and Peru have signed an agreement to enhance cooperation in the sector of critical minerals. The memorandum, signed in Lima.

• Two buried under debris at mine in Rajsamand. It was happened after they got buried under debris at Hindustan Zinc’s Sindesar Khurd (SK) mines in Dariba of Rajsamand district on Thursday early morning

• Coal India signs MoU with IIT ISM to establish Centre of Excellence for mining. The agreement was signed by Dr. B. Veera Reddy, Director (Technical) of CIL, in the presence of Chairman P.M. Prasad.

• Ghana to launch ‘monster mines’ to boost gold production. Africa’s top gold producer Ghana will commission its first large-scale greenfield mine in more than a decade in November, with expected annual production of more than 350,000 ounces
